smart about health
Scan & evaluate
Out of 300 outputs we focus on six key biomarkers known to be linked to cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and osteoporosis. These chronic diseases account for over 8 out of every 10 deaths in the Western world. The good news is that over 80% of this disease burden is preventable by nutrition and lifestyle modification and is completely under your control.
The outputs from your scan can guide you to prioritise changes to your diet and lifestyle that are most likely to help you live a long and healthy life.
Optimise & improve
Deep dive into your results with the expert guidance of one of our fully-qualified specialists in Lifestyle Medicine, Functional Medicine, nutrition, physiotherapy, personal training and clinical psychology. Whether you wish to understand more about your gastrointestinal scan to improve your digestion, focus on improving your energy levels and hormone balance, or want to engage in a Complete Health Improvement Programme (CHIP), one of our experts can help.
Re-scan & track
Poor health develops over time. We don't suddenly wake up with dementia, heart disease or cancer. Modern medicine is set up to diagnose disease once it has taken hold. What if you could look inside your body and see for yourself how well you really are and identify areas that may require attention and keep track of this over time?
This is now possible. So book your scan to help plan a healthier future.
In-depth reporting
The wellness report provides an insight into overall health and lifestyle status. The report empowers you to feel more motivated to take control of your own health and wellbeing. All of the main physiological results are colour coded making it simple to identify key health indicators.

FAQ`s
What is a Bodyscan360? And why do I need one?
It is a non-invasive and innovative wellness screening device that detects underlying mechanisms of diseases many years before they take hold.
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis or Bioimpedance Analysis (BIA) is a method of assessing your “body composition” –the measurement of body fat in relation to lean body mass. It is an integral part of a health and nutrition assessment.
Why is body composition important to my health?
Research has shown that body composition is directly related to health. A normal balance of body fat is associated with good health and longevity. BIA fosters early detection of an improper balance in your body composition, which allows earlier intervention and prevention. BIA also provides a measurement of fluid and body mass that can be a critical assessment tool for your current state of health. BIA also serves to measure your progress as you work to improve your health. With your BIA results, we can recommend a personalized dietary plan, nutritional supplements, and exercise to help you support optimal health and well-being for a lifetime.
How does the Bodyscan360 work?
Technologies behind Bodyscan360:
Galvanic skin response
The Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) is defined as a change in the electrical properties of the skin. The signal can be used for capturing the autonomic nerve responses as a parameter of the sweat gland function.
Heart rate variability
Heart rate variability (HRV) is the physiological phenomenon of variation in the time interval between heartbeats. It is measured by the variation in the beat-to-beat interval.
Digital pulse wave analysis
The photoelectrical Plethysmography displays the contour of the peripheral pulse waveform related with the volume changes in artery.
Body composition and bioimpedance
Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) is a widely used technique for estimating body composition and it is particularly useful in large, population-based studies because it is quick, portable, inexpensive and noninvasive.
What is Lifestyle Medicine?
What makes the Bodyscan unique?
What technology does it use?
The Bodyscan system uses a combination of four different technologies in one device. These are bioimpedance analysis, galvanic skin response, heart rate variability and digital pulse-wave analysis.
What does it test for?
The six key biomarkers selected are vascular age and status of arteries, insulin resistance and pre-diabetes, oxidative stress (free radical damage), visceral fat and body composition, stress level and fatigue, and microcirculation.
The advanced functions (up to 300 outputs) also provide insights into lipid status, liver function, prostate, thyroid and brain neurotransmitters, heart anatomy, lymphatic system, vertebral spine and innervation pathways, gut pH and permeability, adrenal output and dental screening, among others.
What does it not do?
Please note this does not test for any structural abnormalities such as MRI, CT or Xray to detect for abnormal growths and tumours.
How does it differ from tests available from my GP or Private Health?
People present to GPs with concerns about symptoms that have already developed. Traditional medicine is designed to detect and manage disease using pharmaceutical medicines and invasive tests. Bodyscan360 pre-empts this and enables natural lifestyle changes to maximise vitality and longevity.
Companies such as Medichecks, Randox or Thriva are becoming increasingly popular, when access to NHS testing is difficult. The Bodyscan does not test for actual diagnostic values, but it provides a whole-body MOT and signposts where to focus attention. Isolated tests EG. Thyroid, blood lipids or vitamin D may be cheaper, whereas a comprehensive Bodyscan360 saves time and money.
